Huddersfield 2-0 Luton

This was a big game with both sides having a great season although it is fair to say that Luton had stumbled in their last couple of matches. The visitors did look good and kept the ball well without really creating anything much throughout the whole game. It did take Town 60 minutes to find the breakthrough with an audacious effort from Russell just outside the area lifted over the keeper and in the far corner. The game then opened up and Town could easily of added more before substitute Sarr got on the end of a Thomas corner to head home. A thoroughly deserved 2-0 win despite a very suspect referee who awarded Luton a very dubious penalty.

Nicholls 7, Lees 8, Hogg 8, Colwill 7, Pipa 5, Toffolo 7, Russell 7, O’Brien 8 (MOM), Sinani 5, Ward 5, Thomas 7
