A big game for us when we needed the senior players to show up, but sadly we failed to compete beyond the opening 15 minutes. Bournemouth found space easy in the game with Solanke dictating play. We played deep to prevent space in behind but then Bournemouth dominated the space in front of our defence. They played through our back line well with good movement and quick passing. On the ball though we really struggled and it was all a little slow. For the first goal Pearson was turned far too easily and a good ball then resulted with a tap in, for the second a defensive mix up which Lees missed the chance to clear resulted in a open goal. At the start of the second half a good sweeping move resulted in the impressive Solanke making it 3.
